The Area
Many international companies have offices within this area, including NATO Head Quarters. The area is well spread out with a lot of greenery (the park, the cemetery of Brussels), broad avenues and large buildings with apartments but generally the locality is not popular for expats to live in..

In the surrounding area you will find a sports centre (with swimming pool), a hypermarket, the animated "Place Meiser" and "Chaussée de Louvain". the airport is only a few minutes away by car, as is the Brussels Ring leading to the national motorways

Traditionally Evere is divided into two: "Low Evere" and "High Evere". “Low Evere” property is typified by its small character with the exception of those around Picardy. High Evere is where the business quartier is established, especially with significant Office Buildings around the Rue de Colonel Bourg.

Accommodation
Due to a lesser demand, what rental property is available can be a little cheaper than other more popular areas. There are many buildings and blocks built in the mid 1960’s.
