The Area
A commune of two halves, both full of character; the poorer area around the Gare du Midi is undergoing redevelopment and revitalisation. The area is popular with indigenous locals but also has a good quantity of expats. It is a very up and coming location, sought after by developers and younger people.

Typical of so many areas, narrow streets make parking very difficult as although quite small, the area is densely populated.

There are very good Metro Tram and bus links and numerous attractive, quality restaurants.
