Over half of this Commune is covered by the Foret de Soignes. A lot of the area has been rebuilt since the early 1950s and it is probably the most popular commune for Belgians to live in. It does seem that those born in the locality, and schooled here, tend to stay there, resulting in a great sense of community and spirit.
Place Keym has a lovely shopping centre and the locality offers a number of coffee houses, ideal for watching the world go by.
